Riga is turning 825, and tomorrow the city's birthday celebrations kick into full swing. Woomeleon is setting up at the Old Town market on Kaļķu Street, right in the heart of Old Riga — and if you've been looking for a cap that doesn't look like everyone else's, this is your chance to see (and touch) them in person.

August in Riga means Rīgas svētki — the city's birthday festival, packed with street music, markets, and open-air events across Old Town. We're joining the celebration with our own little corner at the Old Town market on Kaļķu Street, one of Vecrīga's busiest and most charming streets, where locals and visitors cross paths all day long — and we'll be right there too, with our embroidered caps.

If you're already in Riga for the festival, or just planning a walk through the Old Town, stop by on your way past.
